It’s also estimated that its combined business and consumer spending will hit a record USD 16.12 trillion in the same year. \nThat’s not all\, the continent is one of the fastest-growing startup ecosystems in the world with its active tech hubs doubling to over 640 in just 3 years. These megatrends are perfect for successful investments\, which recognised investors in Africa have generally taken advantage of. Boasting of the world’s most attractive lower ticket sizes and a very positive exit environment with new and bigger Africa-focused funds like Norrsken’s $200M fund and DFIs; Africa is truly irresistible. \nHowever\, for investors outside the African continent\, the playing field is not level due to a lack of proper local market understanding\, coupled with a high due-diligence cost\, and no access to attractive deal flow.
